New Dawn Approaching

We used to look at the orange, pink and purple of a dying Sun on a tranquil afternoon trembling slightly with the exhilaration of new twilight as darkness her cool and glittering blanket o'er us drew Then it became old fashioned and disco lights and fluorescent glare took it's place while we danced to rhythms that enticed and broke hearts in a swoon of booze and later grass Now that new yet older afternoon has claimed it's magic back far exceeding manmade thrills as a new dawn draws near Sign in to see full entry.
