The right word or the almost right word.
I think I gravitate toward writing shorter peices because of picking the right word. I am amazed by novels that read like poetry in that every word is the perfect word for it's spot in the story. That is how I write poems, but they end up needing up to a hundred revisions in order to get them... Sign in to see full entry.
