XAT YAD (TAX DAY)

Oh Lordy, once again the day has come, Tax Day it is, how terrible, how cruel, A temporary measure passed to win a war not in, Now a sword above all men’s heads, the day has come, The Tax Man cometh, the Tax Man taketh, your money or you, Tribute for the high council far away on river high, Tax and spend, then tax some more, say and do they, The government is most desperate indeed, paramount to all, For you see, my last brass farthing they would take, This to be built, that to be torn down,...
