I'd take Pau Gasol over Dwight Howard if I were picking number one and that was the choice. Free throw percentage is vital. It decides games! As a kid, I was a Warrior, Rick Barry fan. He made nine of every ten free throws. It's a career stat! It brought sanity. It brought victory! I know Howard is a back to the basket monster. But his "brick-throwing" from the line is suicidal.
