History senior seminar

For my senior seminar in history, Professor D'Entremont recently had us read a number of articles on the Parthenon Marbles and the controversy at the Smithsonian Museum that occurred a few years ago. The Parthenon Marbles are statues which used to be, obviously, on the Parthenon, and that in the 1830s an Englishman, Lord Elgin, bought from the Turks and took back to Britain.
