AS far as reading goes, I have always been a BOOKWORM
I used to read anything I could get my hands on when I was a kid growing up in the country in outback Australia. I lived with my father and two younger brothers and my mother on a property (farm or ranch in USA terms). I learnt to read and remember having problems reading aloud between the pronunciation of 'through' and 'though'. At one stage my parents had hired a retired school teacher a Mr Vaughan who used a cane to switch us into line. Every time I read one of those words wrongly he wacked... Sign in to see full entry.
