Words Like Jewels Words like jewels fall from her mouth jewels like amber sun, cresting morning mountain alighting frost crystals on branches and grass-blades Orange light piercing icy fragments lifting nights dormant myriad ethereal spirits to scatter at the break of dawn And that morning as the sun pierced a cloud It's light entered my eyes, filling me with a new brightness that allowed your love to live in my heart If it were not for you and the sun my heart would not know such precious gems...
