Should Bush have cited September 11th or not?

I went into this at some length yesterday, but I want to look at it from the persepctive of the Democrat and liberal response to his remarks. Apparently there is great wailing and gnashing of teeth in the land that he dared mention September 11th - not just once, but five or six (depending on who's... Sign in to see full entry.

In the classic Star Trek episode, The Omega Glory, a primitive people called the Yangs is at war with the ruling government. As the episode progresses, the Yang war drums are heard in increasing volume in the distance until the Yangs finally invade the government city and defeat their oppressors. Their victory won, the Yang chieftain utters a resounding phrase, “That which was ours is ours again!” This blog is now a war drum. I add it to the growing chorus of drums beating in the hills around the city of Washington DC. I do not advocate a revolution of violence and war. But I am joining others in beating our war drums for a peaceful and sweeping revolution at the polls starting in November 2010. This revolution will restore conservatives to power, and that which was ours – liberty, prosperity, restrained government, the rule of law, and personal responsibility - shall be ours again.
