We had arrived in Seville about 12.30, and settled into our hostal, which we had chosen for its cheapness, and its reasonably close proximity to the city centre, the cathedral and other interesting places. I’ve never been to France, but I assume that Spanish hostales are similar to French pensions; although I’ve never heard of a hostal having the famed French dragon of a concierge.
