You’ll find this post a bit long, I guess: about 1,600 words, but I hope you’ll read it right through, and if you do, you’ll see why I am so reluctant to split it into shorter parts. As you’ll see the story’s about powerfully felt emotions, and atmosphere, so it doesn’t really lend itself to being separated.
