Striking it RICH in the Colorado gold fields! Not my buddy & me, our HOST!
When my best buddy Dave and I went to Colorado, I remember it as being our second trip in 1970, we were fortunate to run into a memorable and colorful old character who owned a gold panning tourist trap, just down stream from Blackhawk, Colorado. This whole area has been a gold seekers magnet since the mid 1800’s, an actual Rocky Mountain boomtown, cheek and jowl with another, Central City, Colorado.
