Sorry moms everywhere! I MAY have misjudged you unfairly, while growing up!
This is the time of year, when wildlife is far more visible than during the other seasons. This probably is due to the tormenting bites of millions of mosquitoes, black flies, and horseflies in the shaded woods, driving the defenseless animals out into open fields, and the fact that mothers are attempting to raise this year’s litters of babies, feeding and teaching them, about living in a dangerous, uncaring world.
