Salvation is Being Free to Think Differently

Salvation – The American Heritage College Dictionary lists the definition of the word as “deliverance”. The Hebrew word is “yasha” which means “to be free”. The Greek word is “apolutrosis” which means “deliverance”. The word “deliverance” in AHCD means to “rescue from bondage” and in particular, from sin. If we remember that the word sin really means to “miss the mark” and that the Greek word for repent (metanoeo) means to “think differently”, then salvation is deliverance from wrong thinking;...
