We Be Having Some Fun Now
OMG My nurse providers have started working 12 hour shifts so they can have an extra day off per week. This now means that instead of seeing new patients and work-ins from 4-8, there will be established patients. Tonight we had 10 patients scheduled from 4-8 and the last 4 were Spanish speaking only. So while the interpreter/chart puller was interpreting, I had to pull the charts for tomorrow for all the providers. It would seem like a benign action but by the end of the day, it is hard for me...
