Interesting to know that Isaiah says (my paraphrase), "that the Messiah was without form and showed no looks that we would desire him." Gibson certainly can understand that - he was beaten to a (literally) faceless pulp as a teenager. Through a friendship with a Priest who knew a plastic surgeon, etc. he was "risen from the dead." Paul Harvey did a story on it and I read about it yesterday on Foxblue's? post yesterday.

or may not know that his hand was the hand that nailed the nail to the cross, and he was Jesus (unseen) when the woman in adultery came and kissed his feet!

In my point of view, Mel Gibson did a good job directing the movie, but there was one thing missing. Gibson himself should play Christ himself. Now that would be a real laugh.
