health insurance is such a sore subject

with parents.  I am in that boat now and i am dreading the conversation.  It is only made worse in our case as my husband's 23 year-old brother came down with some really bizarre staph infection of the lungs a few years ago and was in a coma for 3 months with no insurance.    You can't really lie about something like that as they would probably be the one's bailing you out in the end anyway.

It is like one of those big "I told you so's" waiting to happen....good luck.  Enjoy the savings but be very,very careful!

Nope, don't lie. If they can't handle the truth it's their problem! Paying for health care will be your problem!

Jeff, in some ways we all need ........
affirmation from our moms, no matter how old we do get.It's not something like a habit that we kick............of course we want and gain our independece,but a little voice is always there at the center of you...........almost like the Id !!!!!
