An Angel to help
Thank goodness your kids are okay.  They will have a story to tell the rest of their lives.

Lucky!

You are blessed indeed that your boys were being watched over and that the stranger was there to lend a helping arm or two.

We get flash floods all the time in Hawaii, so I can understand what you went through as far as driving and getting drenched.  And one of my hanai brothers and his friend got caught behind a waterfall once when they were camping with my parents.  I had opted to stay home that weekend, otherwise I would have been behind that waterfall as well.  Instead, I just read about the rescue (helicopters and all) in the newspaper only moments before my parents got back home to tell me about what had happened.

Water is certainly a powerful force.
