Being married to a man in his 70's,
I can tell you that Viagra--while good for a man's ego and a woman's spirit--is not the solution to everything.
I think you were probably right to refuse the geezer; however, maybe you ought to come up with a good, witty comeback(s) for the next time(s) you get proposiitoned by someone who has more hair growing from his ears than his scalp.

if he's that old a geezer, he might be worth pursuing. If he's rich. A few years of being chased around by a randy old coot, and when he keels over, you get all his loot. Not a bad way to seal up a lifetime of ease and the opportunity to pursue your writing without financial worry. And if you're smart like Mary Tudor, you can help him toward the keeling over bit.
