One last "to do list"! That was funny! 
Anyhow, I'd tell those opposing your wishes to . . . . . And then I would do it anyway; have it put into your will, pre-pay a funeral and stipulate on the contract that you want your home-built coffin used. Then your friends and relatives will have no choice unless they want to pay for the funeral themselves.

I'll have to remember to put that in my will! I want John Edwards at my funeral so I can give my husband one last "to do" list! LOL
I still want to make my own coffin (bio-degradable, out of oak) but they won't let me...
