I know I posted a long but true story (My Long Road Back) on how I was abuse... although abuse was not a proper word for the treatment I got... and I think I got one comment. I personally believe child abuse should be a felony. I worked an Emergency Room for ten years and there were many nights it took all I had to keep from smacking the crap out of some lying POS who maintained the kid "fell down the steps" (twelve times... can ya believe it?)
Unfortuntely, society has raised women to take abuse and still stay with the abuser. I raised my daughter differently. I never let her read so called women's magazines because of the trash they tell women. I taught her to respect herself and to realize that the only person who can make decisions about her... is her. I pity the fool who ever touches her. She is 5'4" but she will hurt you... bad.

Please read and debate on this for a change
I admit that I'm a bit desperate, but I have also seen behavior like what I describe in this post, and I'm frankly disappointed that nobody has noted and debated my observations. At the very least, I was expecting a "flame war" led by mothers similar to the boy-basher I describe in this post. (Her behavior had to be seen to be believed, by the way.)

Oh, if only this blog were still on the front page
This is a topic I feel deserves more attention, which is why I wrote about the topic in the first place. The more of you who read this, the quicker this blog gets back on the front page where it belongs. Not only do I earn more money, maybe someone out there in a position of power will get the hint and do something about some of the things I describe.
