You are right, Jeff...

another  example of  someone being stereotyped. I hate it.

Don't you think that the appreciation of beauty is a form of honesty?
It's not as if his wife got ugly before their divorce.  If a guy's single and surrounded with wealth and power, he's likely to attract the greatest beauties of the world.

Shallowness is something that is VALID far too often - doesn't require wealth.

Jeff, an excellent point and an assumption we leap to way too often!

It's like the

tall poppy syndrome in Australia. Something entrenched into many Australian's mindsets, that if someone does good and makes something of themselves, you have to bring them back down to earth. maybe they deserved their success, maybe they didn't, but who makes you the supreme being that can lay judgement on other people.

What we see is only sometimes a true reflection of what is going on!

I don't have any proof
that he doesn't deserve the shallow label, but I think he should get the benefit of the doubt. Wealthy people are often sterotyped as being shallow, often unfairly

How do you know it's speculation?  Perhaps circumstantial evidence supports the supposition?   Ever seen him with an ugly woman?  Where's the proof to support YOUR supposition that he does NOT deserve the 'shallow' label?
