Honey, you are not a bitch
Your Mother has caused enough pain in your life for 20 people. This is what you have to do in order to heal yourself; and just maybe it will be the wake up call she needs. (not that I expect she will come to her senses)

Jemmie, I've been down that road myself.
You have to think of your own mental health. If that means staying away from your mother, then so be it.
You are NOT, I repeat, a bitch. This thinking is probably from scars of your childhood.
If anything, you're too loving and compassionate.

Do what you need to do
to remain strong. You can love your mum in many ways, and one of them is to be true to yourself and there for her when she's ready (and when you are as well.)

While I do agree with you fully, I cannot talk to her as long as she continues drinking. When she's sober, she is the most wonderful person alive. Sadly, she rarely doesn't drink. Basically, the only time she isn't drinking is when she's at work.
Once I went to see her at 1pm, and she was already stinking drunk--barely able to walk. That meant she must have started drinking pretty early in the morning.
Once she stops drinking for good, I'll be sure to make her a part of my life.
If she continues drinking, I can't do that. I can't, because I believe every awful thing she says about me.

Life is too short...I hope you can find a way to get beyond the pain &
scars of the past. You will have regret if something were to happen to her to cut life short. My best.
