Coasting downhill is sheer madness. You have zero chance if your brakes fail.
Anticipating signals is a good one.
Unless your car is old, AC makes very little difference to gas consumption.
And winding the windows up will make about the same difference as scraping the insects off your mirrors. Zip, in other words.

I passed a gas station today that was selling gasoline at $2.34 a gallon!!!
I passed another that was cheap, only $198.9. I think they are trying to gouge the consumer, because it is something we need! Have a great day!

| I am paying 2.07 a gallon! Luckly, I have a car that gets good gas mileage where it use to cost me 17.50 to completely fill my car up it is costing 25.00. 25.00 3 times a week or more is ridiculous |

I can remember as a child in the sixties when gas was about 35 cents per gallon. Of course at that time $10,000 per year was a decent salary too.
I try hard to buy gas at the cheapest place I can find. If we all do that, it will force them to keep thier prices as low as they can.

OH my ex
was a gas and brake driver, it drove me nuts. Especially as gas began too hike, even more when we moved to CA. I was not a teen until 89, but we owned a gas station since I was born and I remember pumping gas for .80 cents. This 2 dollar shit is insane.
I have always been a neutralizer ;)

i know donuts are tempting, but try not to over indulge! yes, gas sucks, and I also like to coast when i can. ive always done this though, advice from my drivers ed instructor. people who constantly accelerate an brake annoy the heck out of me, BUT, you should still stop at 4 way stops, accident begging to happen.
