You could very well be right.  However, perhaps it is my lot in life to be there for her.  Perhaps I am meant to help her in every way possible.  Perhaps I need to make up for some negative karmic event in my own past/past lives.

Even if karma doesn't play into this whoe situation, it's in my nature to help others.  I've always done so, and I always will.  To stop being helpful will be to hate myself (even more).

On Your Magic....
...request - it's not always that straightforward.

The painful truth is - people come to this life to learn certain lessons. Some people learn fast - perhaps they've been through this many times before - and some people are still in the early stages of their journey, and will take a long time - perhaps many lifetimes - to learn the lessons they need to learn in order to move on.

Magic can certainly change the course of events BUT - do we have the right to change this lady's course when she is clearly learning (albeit slowly)? You're doing all you can to make her see through these lessons for herself, and that's fine. Magic can, in some sense, remove a persons free will to do the right thing OR the wrong thing. This in turn removes their opportunity to learn, which in turn condems them to another round with the same lesson later on.

And yes - this applies to the children too.

jemmie, so very scary, no? I am so sorry for you, more sorry for you than

for her, even. Extremely sorry for her innocent babies who have no choices as yet. She endangers them all and cannot stop herself. Too many women cannot stay away long enough for their brains to kick in again. Especially if they stay in contact with their abuser, the sweet tongued snakes......like the frozen snake in the story that, when taken home out of the storm, thawed and then bit his savior and she asked why and he answered that ' she knew he was a snake when she brought him inside'. Just being his natural self.

Scary thing is, he's really pissed this time and his retaliation will be exponentially meted out. They always escalate.

I am praying for you and your sanity in all this. Sorry.

Self-repeating cycle syndrome. Sigh. How about getting help from the Women's Center for her? She needs serious professional counselling. And policing.
