That scene is so cute. I reminded me of my mom. She has always used her feet to stop things from falling on the hard floor and saved a lot of dishes. I also responded to your comment to my post "Missing New Jersey". You must read it. Good writing.

It's heartening to read about such simple pleasures...
to be reminded that people do love and laugh, often and well...As a person who cooked professionally for a number of years I can tell you that the three seccond rule is universal and that I have had many things land on the toe of my shoe...and managed the levitation trick as well....
