Good luck on convincing your guy! As a general rule, guys aren't very good at picking up hints. If you've tried dropping hints a couple of times, you may like to consider doing it the direct way. 
On the other hand, I know of a hint so obvious that a guy must be really dense not to catch it. Bring him to a jewellery shop, look at the diamond rings on display and then ask him, "Do you think one of these will look good on my finger, especially the fourth one?" Then quickly lift up your left hand. My wife really liked to use this hint on me. Just use it sparingly.

heheh I do dream about it a lot, and I think I would love to be married, but honestly, the financials just aren't there... yet... oh, yea, and I guess I gotta convince the boy, too~ lol
