I would want all the gritty details,
you know, like where you grew up, what your family life was like, your first sexual experience, you know, all the interesting stuff.

Yep, I say what makes you tick, that's what they're after.
Feelin' better?  Hope so!

It depends on the person I guess....
Usually I like to know how they got to where they are now - growing up, memories, family, places they've lived or travelled to - people they've known, loved and lost etc...The human side I guess.

I always like to hear how people overcame difficulties and adversity.
Of any kind really...self-doubt, divorce, money issues, family.  I think hearing about how other people found solutions to the things that we all face, it helps show someone else a new road out.  I watched biographies a lot after a car accident (I couldn't read).  I like seeing someone else went through something awful or difficult or were lonely...and came out okay.

I suppose I'm always curious as to why people make the choices they do and what the results of their choices are. I also enjoy it when biographies deal with the feelings and emotions of their subjects.

Call me Miss Predictable, but I like insights on their childhood.

Regrets past and present would be interesting, too.
