Deutch?? Nein, Yo hablo Espanol....no pics, it was too small to see from the camera's vantage point, it was just an itty bitty silver speck. But I knew what it was, and I got to hear it leave atmosphere and it was worth getting up at the crack of dawn for.

That's one of the great things about living near Edwards AFB. When I was a little girl, I remember my teachers would always take us to the playground so we could see the shuttle landings. You'd hear this big boom and then see this tiny spacecraft circling in the air. I never got to see one take off though because that usually happened in Texas. But it was still neat.

Wow, you got to witness
history first hand. It made it and you were there. Should be a good story for you to write. There is a future site for a space port not far from here, and this will give it a boost. Can wait to read what you have to say.
