Dances,
I think I am glad that I wasn't at your neighbor's house! I don't like spiders either.

Hmmm? Maybe spiders are like cats, in that....
it is well known that cats will gravitate to those who don't like them. Just to freak them out. Maybe they KNOW!!!

Ariala--
thanks for telling me about that thing... what a great invention! :)
I have had many encounters with spiders in my car and on my bed (easy to see them because my bedspread is white down!) Now sometimes I am petrified to climb into bed because within the last month, a hairy black one was sitting there with such color contrast that I spotted him right away. GRR!
haha, thanks for telling me about the thing, though! Sorry to hear ya got bit!

I like spiders, but I was just reading about a plug-in frequency machine
that gets rid of them, along with ants, roaches, mice and rats. I have one for mice, but this is an all-purpose unit. You ought to check into one of those. Meanwhile, two nights ago I got bitten by a spider in bed. Now I'm able to crawl up walls. I'm not kidding.

We pretty much allow spiders to go about their business until the cat gets
to them. She stalks them and plays with them and mouths them a bit and leaves these moist little carcasses all balled up. She's an indoor cat, so she appreciates the action.

Poor spiders, I kind of like 'em. Spiders are some of the most prolific life form on the planet. Too bad ya can't like 'em.
