Gib, Tamara and RachelA....
Thanks for the advice.. Someone came to my work tonight and they they will bring me a book of CA. state laws and all my rights.. For instance, they can not fire me, and they can hire a temp. replacement but they can't hire anyone permanent to take my place. When I come back, I'm entitled to my same shifts. NOthing should change. If it does, than it's a big lawsuit. I'll wait till Tues. and see how the talk with Saro goes, then plop the book on his desk so they can read it for themselves..

Let it play out. They haven't done anything illegal *yet*. Keep showing up, and keep collecting your pay. Oh, but *do* consult with the state and advise THEM that you've been told you're going to be fired because you're pregnant. The earlier you tell them, the more believable it will be when it happens and they won't think that you're trying to relatiate.

Let it play out...
You don't want them "finding" another legit reason to let you go. Then, you'll still have the law on your side if they let you go for being pregnant.
