billy cargo,
See I probably never would have talked to the parapalegic girl in the bar. But I want to be the kind of person that would - but I'm very shy to begin with, so it's hard for me to just strike up the conversation.

Miaella - People will stare at anyone different, OR .......
they will act like they don't see them at all. People are weird. A waitress will ask, "And, what would she like?" as if she cannot speak for herself. People will do anything to keep from making eye contact. Why is it so hard for people just to make eye contact, smile and say "Good morning"?

Hello MiaElla,
people might stare. It's okay, people stare at lots of things. Have a great time! I've always had a variety of friends too, the less English they speak the better I like them. Ha! Just kidding. Take care

this is a good post about. i feel good about it.
i've never liked the way hollywood teaches us to exploit little people. sometimes when we see people who are differnet (physically) from us we just naturally take pity and so often thats not what they want. once my XO gave me a hard time, made fun of me for talking to a parapalegic girl in a bar in Waikiki...but she was really cool to talk to
