The core of me, indeed, oh cuddly one...
This was a brilliant comment. Thank you! I felt like, yeah! That's right! Dang, TP, are you ever NOT inspiring? ;)

It all comes from the core of you, Dear Temple...cast away the shell and dance freely with your guiding star!

Thanks, Cass. Sometimes we are just too hard on our selves.
Then we let the voices of our critics pipe in, and it can be brutal.

I can really relate to this one, acknowledging the comments of others, but relying on one's own confidence enough not to apologise. Good one!

I think we all feel like a slacker sometimes, Bella.
My battle is not to let other's harsh judgments distort my reality....even when I just did something stupid, or can't get myself on the ball....it just means we're human, that's all. :)

Yes, I did. I left her a comment.
It is very, very sad. I hope she's okay....well, she will be soon.

You are right it is funny. Did you read Quirkyalone's post about losing her kitty Tiger? Happened last night. She was really sad today. shadow

Slackers. Did you see I fessed up to slackness in a recent post?
Others think I am not but I know the truth

It's funny to put artist and rational minded in the same sentence!
At least for me, today, it is. I'll just chalk it up to eccentricity, creativity, and insanity. :)

Temple,
Yeah I agree, those pesky rational minded artists can really make life a challenge for the rest of the world. Hey I shouldn't be talking about myself and my people that way, hee hee. shadow

Thanks Shadow, that's what I was going for.
When we beat up on ourselves for doing what we feel is right...or even what we feel we shouldn't...it helps to remember why we're doing it. Rationalization is a gift!

Or, sometimes it's really that we are focused on our path and sometimes it makes us do the not-so-smart things. Artists!
