My wailer, in general, is the only one willing to clean.

Actually, my three boys are all different in the cleaning up stakes although they were brought up in the same way. The 15 year old is very neat and tidy and will clean for me with little encouragement, the 14 year old needs a firmer push, but will eventually do it and the 11 year old throws himself in a corner and wails "Why me?".

She just said old enough to learn.
Getting them to do is a completely different thing.

Old Enough
Exactly when are they old enough to clean up?  My 13 year old still doesn't do it unless I threaten him with the death penalty.

Putting things way, yes. Putting my toys back up in the correct way for them to be displayed best, no. His coordination is no there for one thing and his understanding of the scenes and such are not there either. If it were just to put them all in a box or such, he would be doing that.

At least you are thinking.
I know of people who have had children and feel as you do.
If you do not think you can handle kids than I am all for you not having them.
I wish more people had as much sense.

If I had children
I would enjoy them ten percent of the time and find them a pain ninety percent of the time. That's why I don't have children.
