Kay-Ren,
Well it wasn't MY money, after all...and it was just a skinned knee, hehe. Okay, I'm trying to justify it, but still...

I laughed just reading this but
why didn't you help him carry it to the car? Were you anticipating a good laugh?

I can't laugh when money is lost, it's against my penny pinching nature, now if the TV and the guy were fine, I would laughed my ass off.

Yes, I laughed at that post as I read it, especially the picture in my mind
And I can't say I blame you for seeing humor in it, but I don't think I would have laughed when it happened, at least not right in front of him...I used to get into trouble as a kid for laughing when other people would trip or otherwise falter. So I know how you feel! I still do that, sometimes. It's embarrassing because I feel so immature when I do it, but you know what? Who gives a fizz-uck?! Humor is great!

Definately would have laughed at that!!!
My dad has this thing with people getting shocked. Whenever he sees someone get shocked he laughs until he cries and he feels horrible but can't help it. It wasn't so funny when he laughed at me when I was 7, but hey, we all have stuff that just sets us off!

Don't know how I'd have reacted really, would have depended on how well I knew the friend. I might have wanted to laugh and not done if I hadn't known them too well. I think what causes these reactions is the same thing that causes us to laugh at funerals, a sort of twisted relief that it isn't happening to us!

When I was 14, and still in the Catholic Church, my girlfriend and I went
to confession together. Before each of us entered the "secret chamber" for some reason we just started laughing uncontrollably. We could not stop for anything or anyone. Tears were rolling down our faces and when the priest saw us he thought we were crying! LOL

I would have cracked up too - and then run inside to blog about it!
I always laugh at inappropriate times - unless I'm crying - when I worked at Bank One in the '80s - one of my coworkers came in one morning and was telling us about why she was late. she had backed over her poodle FiFi on the way to work. I laughed so hard. She looked at me like I slapped her. I couldn't help it - just the name Fifi was cracking me up - I couldn't stop laughing - tears rolling down - I got hiccups - everyone else had started laughing at this point - including the owner of Fifi.
Fifi was fixable by the way.
I blamed the whole thing on being preggers with Sam at the time.

Yes, I would have laughed
I always laugh when something like that happens. My wife once yanked on a shade, to get it to come down. Well it did; the whole damn thing. Right on top of her head. She is standing there with a bump on her head, and I am rolling on the floor laughing.
