Well, ThomasF, I think that makes us all smile, too.
As long as it's a significant one and not one just to cover the possible overdrafts! hehe

Witty-W, I happen to think they are pretty damn funny, too!
I suppose I smile (and laugh at them, alos!!)

Something that makes me smile is my babies face when I walk into her room to get her up in the morning or from a nap and she lights up and I light up and then we hug. Seriously we do this every time.

Those are awesome ones, tg, especially being able to
push your kids on the same playground you played on as a kid. Wish I could do that. Of course, I suppose I'd need to have kids first. Oh yeah, and to move back to Chicago.

make me smile (wasn't that a chicago song?)

Pushing my girls on the swings, esp. when we go to the park i went to when i was a kid.

Hearing the Grateful Dead's "Ripple" on the radio.

the view of lower manhattan, from the BQE or the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, or the Brooklyn Bridge -- despite the open wound, it's still home. tg

Perhaps I Blabenate too much, but I have three things.........

1). Shopping always makes me smile!!!!!!!  Especially when I find the perfect.......whatever (including gift for another);

2). Every single time Mark wrapped me in his strong arms, I could not help but wear a Kool-Aid Smile;

3). Playing with Mark's dog, Frankie, makes me Smile........I really fell in love with that dog!

Love,

Whammie

David1S, THAT IS SO COOL!!
See? It's times like those that bring sweetness to life. You're wise to that.

Feeding my birds!

And just watching them. I throw peanuts all over the yard and watch the Blue Jays swoop in. The other birds are eating out of the feeder, and just spashing in the birdbath. The squirrels compete with the Jays for peanuts, and sometimes one of them jumps into the birdbath and well, it's a sight!

It's where I shut down my thinking, and just let everything be. It's the closest I come to living totally in the "now" !

Kelli, now that is something to smile about for sure!
I just wish there were more people in the world with such traits.

Spitfire, one thing that always makes me smile is outright and obviously

blatant truthful honesty.  Not honesty, persay, as in me telling you "oh, your writing is wonderful, but I have to be honest and say it could use  blah blah....." I mean honesty, as in a person who refrains from being overly judgemental, or accepts another no matter what misgivings or difference in beliefs are discovered.  Not going on long tangents of fact filled, information packed subjects, in order to prove a point.  I smile at this.
