I kinda took the cleaning thing literally...
Since tomorrow is my last day at my job I will have to clean out my office. I was planning on doing that today, so I figured that's why I dreamt about cleaning my office. I was just at a loss as to why Daddy appeared in the dream. My mother did too, but I can't remember exactly what role she played.

Jems, I agree with what Sassy said, and can also offer this:
"Cleaning" represents clearing feelings you are in need to let go of and your dad represents one of those feelings. Not to say you need to "let go of him" per se, but of the feelings of letting go any regrets or guilt associated with him. You and he both know that you had a healthy relationship, however, it is not uncommon for us, the surviving living, to have such feelings of "did he know how much I loved him?" or "Did I tell him enough?" or "Is he really okay now?"
Many times, if the deceased appear to us in our dreams and it contains a significant dialog or exchange of emotion, it is probably really their spirit coming to us in the most benign but "realistic" form. If they are represented as only a "symbol" it is usually a message from your unconscious mind/self; such as the stamp of your dad's face.

OR..you could just be dwelling on him too much
which is natural, it's part of the grieving process, which will have more stages to come.

This dream has a few messages for you
It is mainly about how you are seeing things at this time, a picture of your dad was presented to you at this time to awaken a past memory because whatever lessons you are going through at this time is one that you did not learn from the past. Your father, of course repesents someone that you look up to and his guidance that he had over you while alive. At this time you may be in need of his guidance again. You are cleaning in the dream to make way for the new. I hope this makes sense to you.
