response to religious sects

catholic religion is not the oldest religion as so many believe. They broke off from acient greeks and devised an incredibly dysfunctional sect that is built on false premise and a paternal hierarchy.

politics and religion should not co-exist. just because someone votes republican does not mean they are against abortion.  i opt for a third newly created party....pro-abortion/choice, pro-environment, pro-anti.terrorism, pro-big business, pro-education, anti-welfare, anti-food stamps and so on.

in the ideal world, parents would have to acquire and maintain a license to bear and raise children, higher taxes would go toward those who pro-create bearing more than 2 children.

Good post! I only would add ...
That Christians have the responsibility to pray for all of our leaders, regardles of our opinion of them. Also, we are obligated to choose our leaders based on how well they seem committed to getting His will and not our will done.
