That is correct…it's the bottom line...

The ego cannot stand to hear that it is not in control and that “it” does not matter in the greater scope of things. Even the slightest mention of such things…freaks it out…the ego’s greatest fear is that its owner will understand this…and attempt to separate from it.

If the ego is not in control, then it cannot judge…and it really hates that…

I'll try again. In control? That is ultimately what Ego is all about, in my book.

Yes...the ego does need (or prize) love…and that is what keeps it alive. But what is “ego” all about?

The death of the ego is the First Death…

Once it’s pedestal is taken…it cannot stand it…and it will even kill to regain it…

Here is a clue…“ego hates not being ?”…not being…what???

Love will ultimately destroy it…but not the love of “it”…not the love of what it stands for…

Good question. The first thing that comes to mind is love. It's the ultimate paradox. It needs love for self worth and value, but love will ultimately destroy it . . . .????

Exactly times two…

Got a question…what is the ultimate death of ego? What one thing can the ego not stand to hear? What does the ego fear more than anything? What will it fight against at all costs?…

…it’s value and self worth hinge upon this…what is it?
