PastorTom, when did you ignore me?

(Sorry, bad, bad memory!!) Regardless, you and I do have common ground and even though we may not agree with certain religious concepts and/or beliefs, we are still clergy members none the less. There are many rabbi's, priests, ministers, etc. who are the best of friends; even the "old school" ones! I have done funeral services containing crowds of older people who are religious Christians. After my service, it never fails that I have many standing in line to shake my hand. Many have told me it was the most thought-provoking, spiritual awakening service they have ever attended. Many have told me that my words actually made their grief a bit easier because of my words. That is what matters most to me. Now, I do not announce that I am a witch; not that I'm ashamed, however it doesn't matter and that fact has nothing much to do with my clergy work anyway. I take pride in what I do to help people and am not ashamed of who I am if asked.

Just the fact that you acknowledged me here and you and I have exchanged peaceful words before tells me a lot about you. Any difference in religious beliefs doesn't make a difference for respect I've already gained for you.

Sorry I ignored you.

When you told me you were non-denominational clergy, went to your site quickly, then I ran away. After all, didn't the witch eat Hansel and Gretel?  I don't know if we will find much common ground in religious issues, but that does not mean I'm not interested in getting to know you as a person. I'm trying to live the kind of life that breaks down stereotypes and preconcieved ideas of who I am, maybe that is a place of common ground between us.

It is not secret-just read my work. Hard working and hard up. Savage love though-that sounds good.

I swear, it's true Rachel!

When I was 13, me and my friends were hanging out in front of another friends' house named Jimmy. From his bedroom window on the second story of the house, he shot me right in the kisser and GOD did that HURT! I promptly ran up to his bedroom and kicked his butt for it. Still got the scar.

Hollee, well, still, I think it's too cool that you became
blood brother/sister. I think it's great when siblings are best buds. Me and my brother are still very close (even though he's a closet Republican and won't admit it!!)

No you don't?!
Do you really?!  THAT is strange!

We were already - spawned by the same parents. :)

Cool, Hollee! But, did you "become" blood brother/sister that day or
were you really already blood siblings? (Just asking cause I just commented about me and my brother being adopted.) Cool story!

ThomasF, was it you? hehe
I'm SURE if we had access to a drill or something of the sort, we would have tried it.

LOL - my brother Steve and I were sitting in the back yard bouncing

badminton rackets on our knees for some reason I can't recall. I split my knee open - Steve jumped up to run and get home, fell and busted his knee on a brick path.

We were best friends and now blood brother/sister.

A-Norse, Yes, I think so. In fact, my brother and I were both adopted and
we used to tell our friends that we were blood brother and sister because we had matching scars on our lips.

I also have a BB gunshot scar ON MY BUTT!   Spooky

A grown up true version of a rotten tooth that needed to be pulled. This grown up had no money but a lot of pain. He took a string and tied it to the tooth. Put the other end of the string to a drill and pressed the trigger. The tooth came out.

Great story!
Do you think these scars make a little closer in some way today, because of the shared memory?

LOL!
Oddly enough, my brother and I have matching scars on our butts!  A neighbor kid shot us both in the butt with bb gun!!  Lovely, eh?!
