Photos on Blogit
Yes, you can continue to include photos in your blogs even with Blogit Basic if you have them hosted at another site that allows you to link to them from your Blogit blogs.
The Blogit Gold and Blogit Silver plans include photo hosting for those members who prefer to have Blogit host their photos and/or do not have access to another website that allows them to host their photos there for linking to another website such as Blogit.
Thank you.

One more photo question. . .
I found the new plan instructins to be clear, and I'll be happy to stay with my existing member basic plan. I do use graphics in my blogs that are from another hosting site and are not copyright violations. Will we be able to continue to do this without upgrading Blogit plans? These graphics/photos don't cost Blogit anything, if I understand the concept.
Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Clarification
beachbelle,
The plan change will only go into effect if you click the "Change Plan" button on the confirmation page. At this time, your plan has not been changed.
1. We understand the concern, but this was a necessary change due to increased costs because of Blogit's growth. We will also be investing in additional marketing to attract more members, which we believe will make the site more valuable for everyone.
2. Yes, absolutely. However, if a member wants Blogit to host the pictures, they can choose a Silver or Gold plan.
3. We chose the plan approach because it is often easier for people to understand than a complicated list of options. Since photo hosting is a common member request, we believe most members will be pleased to have it part of the Silver and Gold plans without having to pay extra photo hosting fees.
4. The toolbar is currently available only on Windows because the required functionality is not present in Apple's Safari web browser. Apple has stated that they are working on adding this functionality, so we certainly hope to be able to support it in the future. If there are any other features that you are not able to access, please let us know in case it is something we can resolve.
We have also updated our original News announcement to better explain the changes.
Thank you.

I am new to this but...
I am new to this, but after reading your query Beachbelle this sounds like blogit is raising fees and charging for pictures and such.
This sounds much like what ebay did back in the day. Ebay used to be a great place to sell items, but eventually they started charging for all sorts of items, pictures, money transfers, features and raised fees several times.
I hope (speaking as a newbie) this isn't just another Ebay...
