OMGosh!!! I had to check my temperature!
I thought I might be sick since I actually agreed with you on this one.
I think Pink Floyd is one of the greatest groups of our time! I saw the movie a couple times, the very first time, many years ago, after having dropped some nasty acid, then I had to see it again without the aid of chemical enhancment.

Good Movie, Good band, and Good post. David Gilmore put More emotion in his last three notes than most guitarist will feel their whole career. The lyrics are in a class all by themselves. Impeccable recordings as well.

It doesn't really depress me, but it does get me emotional. Floyd just has such emotions and truth in all of their music. I think that is why Dark Side of the Moon did so well for so long and appeals to multiple generations. I am only 30, so Floyd was really mostly before my time.

sorry but while it is a great film i can't watch it.  it's just soooooo depressing.  Like Floyd.  I used to love them, but i just can't anymore!  I can still listen to wish you were here which is mostly instrumental anyway, and the final cut satisfies my ant-war jones, but even dark side  -- a masterpiece -- is just too sad for me now. tg

You are right. I've dealt with plenty of walls. Are they similar
to what psychiatrists would call "complexes"? I don't know. Maybe walls are a lesser version of these. Or maybe they are slang?
