Only love matters.
Hi Sheyre, I agree with you, the only thing that matters in this life, is love. God is love. Have a great day! Sasha.

Thank you for clearing up to some degree what you had suggested you believed earlier. I don't suppose you read my blog on These Judgemental Christians it clarifies what we as new testament christians are to do when it comes to judgement. No mismash about it. We are not to judge the world, but we are to judge the Christian. You can read it. That is not what I am here about. If I may I would like to respond to a few of your comments with questions that appear not to be a part of your teaching. I gather from what you said you are a preacher. 1) Do you agree that the whole Bible is the word of God? 2) Do you agree that Evangelical means to Evangelize Christ? 3) Do you believe one is held accountable for every idle word? 4) Do you believe that the book of Revalation is a reality to occur? 5) Do you believe that our Society as it is right now, the state of the world as it is right now has been foretold in the Bible? I am not a legalist, I am not a kook. I Love the word of God and have found it to be so incredibly revealing when one allows it to be. I am also from a very liberal denomination. I sew into a group that provided over one million pounds of food to Florida's hurricane victims. Government is not responsible for these things. We are. I find lots of churches do not teach it as it is. We are held accountable for not telling one who is in error and may not know it. If they are told and change it is not a problem for either of you. If they are told and do not change it is only a problem for them. If you do not tell them and they perish, their blood is on your hands.

I agree. I don't know how to tell someone else to live, when I am just learning to live myself.  I think the issue of homoseuxal marriage is not an issue I need to judge.  An evangelist on tv (I forget who) said that his job is to convert people to Christianity, not to rant about abortion, etc., because someone who believes in Christ is much less likely to choose an abortion. That makes sente to me.  Christians are being judged harshly becasue too many of us judge others harshly.

thank you for clarifying (sort of)
what you were trying to say in your comments. Although this sounds much like "compromising" our faith and walk with God. But that's my take.
