Hi Sue. Lovely yet kind of sad poem. Weddings are nice, but it's what happens afterwards that really matters. I had a huge, lavish Catholic wedding for my first marriage and everything was downhill from there. The second time around, just a simple ceremony and dinner out with close friends. The honeymoon is still ongoing (mostly, lol
) after 17 years together. Yes, marriage and commitment are the dreams to reach for. Very beautiful when they really come true. Hang in there, don't enroll in that convent yet, you are still young and attractive. Keep dreaming!
