My Name
I am named after Shemsuddin of Tabriz, who was Rumi's teacher. I was given this name by my spiritual teacher. Yjanks for asking.

Have you been musing on being at the
top, or what? And you seem to be having fun along the way too. I didn't come for the five clicks and comments, but they help of course.

I came because I've seen your name around and an interesting one it is too. I finally just gave in and clicked. So...... if you don't mind telling, what's the history behind your name.

While setting a goal to be number one is a worthwhile endeavor (and if anyone says they never entertained the idea, I'm sure they're lying), should it be your only goal? I'm not being critical or trying to talk you out of anything, but just wondering. I too had such aspirations, but once I realized what I would have to do to even come close to achieving it, I had to abandon the quest. I'd rather do things my way and suffer in relative obscurity than jump through hoops to appeal to the masses.

Here's your comment...
Your writing is good....don't be so concerned with being #1...I find it to restrict natural talent...maybe because dollar signs blur creativity...but I'm gonna hold you to my five visits...

Relax, some days are better then others
I have written posts that get an immense amount of comments, but the I have received zero on others. What is really wierd is when they still climdb up in ranking, but have no comments. You are probably being read, but not everyone leaves a comment. Hang in there.

This is quite an interesting idea you've got started here. Good luck with
it. As much as I like all the clicks and comments from my readers, the most important thing to me is just writing. I have noticed it helps to market your writing properly with a question or something that will catch people's eye, but I"m not sure how to go about that. I have also noticed that asking a question at the end of a post helps in getting comments.
