Exactly.
Normally, we use the bad reviews as a guide to what we
want to see. I thought maybe a knowledgeable person like roofy would not like it because of technical things or something. This tells me that the people who comment on IMDB are idiots, at least on that movie.

Cool...
::::Drooling:::: Vin Diesel is so hot. sigh. And I don't give a crap what the reviews said. I liked the movie. The special effects were awesome and they left you guessing til the end. Movie critics can bite me.

Huh.
I've read bad reviews of it; people hate Vin Diesel; the comments on IMDB say it's poorly done. All those reasons. But I love it. In fact, we missed Pitch Black, so are renting it soon, I hope. I watched Riddick twice, and will watch it again. It has so many great elements. When is the next one coming out? Can't wait. My big question: Can't Kyra come back (whining)? She's so cool.

Eat your soul, roofpig?
Hadn't thought about that. But, now that you mention I'm sure it's pie flavored. I may just do that.
They are awesome books. You should read them sometime!

Joining you guys. . .
I've never read either series either. I'm still trying to watch LOTR. Hard to get into and requires a big block of time. Right now, I'm entranced with
Chronicles of Riddick. (don't hit me roofpig!)

Hard to believe eh? lol
I can't wait to watch the movie! I read all those books when I was little. And that was before I knew they were about God etc.

It'll be interesting to see the new Chronicles of Narnia movie that's in production right now. I've never read the books, but I've always wanted to.
