Dave,

Thank you very much!

Quirky, it has a mythical feel to it, this poem, loaded with symbolism. Lady of Shallott, King Arthur, that sort of resonance. Nice writing.

Dave.

mike-pilarte,
um...I dunno...I've been "write here" all along, lol. Anyway, thank you very much for your compliment!

klara,
wow, thanks for that exceptional comment!! Passion and inspiration does have a certain way of bringing out the emotion in the writing, that's for sure. Thanks again!

You're right, this is the best. The others are fantastic too, very well
written, but this one contains an edge of emotionality and passion that is absolutely astounding. I can't write poetry at all, and with this one, I'm exceedingly jealous. You were obviously lost in the throes of the writing while you wrote it, and it does show.

Whoa Quirky, such silkily suggestive imagery and warm passion felt.  I second what Alf said, you have those wings and are flying high.

Quirky...
Exqisite!  Your poetry wings are well earned now.  >>>bells ringing<<<  This poem exhibited fabulous imagery and painted quite a picture of love born passion.  Plus the whole sword thing was dy-no-mite.  Well done, great job.  ::::::::applause::::::::
