My Dad would always say in a really disgusted voice,
"One of you get that stinking dog out of here." So, out Dopey had to go. Then my Dad would crack up behind the newspaper.

I had to read this one
to my husband. I could barely contain myself. He does this with our 3 yr old. She is always happy to oblige him when asked to pull his finger. LOL.

ThomasG, um, no I wouldn't believe you. Sorry.
Didn't believe Daddy, either, that's why we always keep matches in the bathrooms. We called it Jewish Airfreshener.

Alf,
My step dad used to call my first son , buck snort, when he was a baby. He said he was no bigger than a buck snort... great, you mean he was calling him a fart?

Alf, I never heard of the buck snort or the motorcycle!!
Good ones! The other thing my dad did...okay, well, he STILL does is if someone's talking and he has brewed up a killer belch, he'll stop the conversation as if he has to say something of great importance..."Wait a minute," while holding up his pointer finger to the ceiling, "
Brrrrooooop! Okay, go ahead." Yep, Daddy's pretty classy when it comes to stuff like that! Gotta love him!

Gypsy, I still live in fear of barking spiders.
I bet they bite, too.

Exactly, LittlemsP! I thought maybe I would be brought
in barking spiders or pink elephants by others who actually caught them! I'm still waiting. I'm starting to have my doubts about their existance, though.

Spitfire...It seems I have a lot in common with your Dad...
Did you hear the buck snort? was another one. Then there is trying to start the invisible motorcycle...where the engine turns over a bit when you push down hard on the kick start. Ahhh...the good times.

OMG Spitfire!
My Grandpa always said barking spiders LOL. I would scream and climb onto anything possible while my brother would search. I swear that's why I was scared of spiders when I was little!

thanks spit but it did not turn out too good for me, it expanded quite nicely but people really did not seem to like me for it, even thought they made posts JUST LIKE MY FLOATING AROUND SPACE WRTING, i revealed it tonight because the past few days people have been ruthless, maybe it's is because THEY were the experiment making fun of gthe scientist. I hope everyone goes back from their frankenstein monster costumes i miss a lot of people that just stopped talkng to me, and NO one knew about the hypothesis.....too bad

SPIT
I AM A bit of a planner when it comes to science projects and sometimes i can spot a quite interesting theory challenger. Just my spacey/flying around posts, but every body was worse than i expected, they even started posting in their that way. But it worked out great on my theory proving hobbie thanks.

Rachel, I only imagined a Chihuahua like head cause
they're small enough to fit on a big barking spider's "head".

Rachel, did you look for them also?
If so, how did you imagine them to appear? Did they have a dog's head?
