The obvious question here is....
why am I not writing?  no, that's not it....(I'm normally working, but I'm reading you instead)....see, I have no focus...the question is, have you actually tried to influence people with your mind?  Just because they say it's wrong or can't prove it, doesn't mean it's not true.  Ask Spitfire, there's magic all around...;)

You're quite correct, UH. Those with a slow onset tend to have less of a
chance of recovery. However, those with an awareness of the disease have a better ability to lead a normal life and combat it more successfully, and this is also you. You have the best grip on this that I've ever seen in my life. Like you, I'm always reading you, just didn't have time to comment much today.

You're absolutely right about the messed up world. I saw a book that pretty much summed it up, it was "On being normal and other disorders". It seems as though EVERYONE fits in to some class of disorder these days, so wouldn't that make everyone with a disorder normal? And thank you for the compliment =) I'm glad that you enjoy my writing.

Perhaps we all have neurosis. The other day I called my mom to tell her I saw my dog in the soap I used for showering that morning. Her reply, "Well you've always been a rather odd child."

My brother suffers from delusions of grandeur also.

He thinks with no college degree or work experience he can mae a six- figure income every year....that's why he's unemployeed...he thinks his time is too valuable.

It's a small world, filled with messed up people.

But you are a great writer...no delusion in that.

My family had thought the same thing at first, but when I confronted them face to face and explained it all they were able to see I wasn’t lying. I’m glad to hear that you’re doing well now; it is always encouraging to hear about someone who has managed to overcome these symptoms and live a normal life. And as for drugs, I’m one of those sissies who hasn’t even tried weed. My reasons are not because I think it’s bad or anything like that, it’s just that I’ve seen it totally ruin my friends’ lives, and that’s not something I want to get involved with.

I have the same delusions,
however, my family insists that I fake mental illness to excuse a long period of under-achievement.  It is so unfair. Now, I'm doing okay and successful, but my symptons are less severe.  I suspect years of allergy medication caused some of my problems.  It may sound odd, but symptons like you describe are not uncommon in users of crystal meth.  I have these symptons, but I've never used illegal drugs.  It's not fair because we did not choose to be mentally ill.  Take care
