I was on something of a blogging sabbatical. It was unexpected, so I didn't bother with a "be back in the future" post. Nothing dire this way came or anything. I simply didn't feel like blogging. I have this "no news is good news" idea in my head. If you don't hear something awful happened, evidently nothing did, so why worry? Of course, not everyone has this mindset and I apologize if you worried. I'll be back in the swing of things come January. Next time if I feel the urge to disappear, I'll be sure to tell you.

Yep, I wasn't sure what to make of it, because usually people announce they're leaving and she's been such a great part of the Blogit back-and-forth, her member profile's still up, but I guess that doesn't mean anything.

Yes, Poopy. But, it's a "hall pass" from all of us.
Not just me. We all must vote upon the decision of whether or not any of our adored residents may move out of Blogitville permanantly. As for the temporary pass, well, as long as there is plenty of notice and a damn good reason. Is that so much to ask? I think not.

I'm on school holidays already (6 weeks for our summer vacation) but am heading interstate to spend Christmas and New Year with "M's" family. They live in a regional district on the Murray River (Australia) with citrus, wine, and various other orchards. His father and brother are cooks and they have a huge family - so wining and dining is a must. LOL - I still haven't gotten rid of the excess kilos from all the wine and cheese I enjoyed when we went away for a week for my sister's wedding...Maybe I should share the goodies....No, that's what New Year's Resolutions are for! Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year. (Enough detail???)

Ok spitfire -
here's the heads up from me. I'm off for Christmas and New Years - about two weeks in total and I plan on drinking plenty of wine and eating lots of festive dishes. And no, I'm not sharing. Have a fantastic Christmas.
