trinity
not three persons
god -- the Universe as an Organism
the son -- the children of god
the spirit -- that mindset and perception that flows into and out of all those of a spiritual mind.

No, I believe they are one entity. But I do think they are different manifestations of the same ulimate Spirit.

well, questioning is a part of learning and gaining that
understanding. But I see many who question when in truth they have already formulated the answers in their own hearts and minds already.
While I'm on the subject, allow me to ask you a question. I've noticied in some of your posts, as well as comments-your last one serves as an example-that you have the tendancy to separate God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Which makes me curious as to whether you do or do not view them as one triune entity?

No need to feel sad. I haven't lost a love. As a matter of fact, the love in my heart grows each day as I understand more and more about "God" and Jesus/Yeshua and as my relationship with each grows. Each person understands what their spiritual maturity will allow.

It saddens me that
one who seems so intelligent would have such little understanding.
But maybe that's why Scripture tells us to lean not on our own understanding.
The resurrection and Christ's appearances are as real as your fingers on your keyboard.

all is explainable
read between the lines
Pilate didn't want to crucify -- priests did -- Pilate knew they were jealous of Yeshua. He finally "relented".
Roman soldiers did not break his bones as they did the thieves (breaking leg bones hastened death due to asphyxiation) -- one soldier pierced him -- not apparently in a vital area -- which could have cause him to faint.
and he was taken down much sooner than was the custom soon after he himself said "It is over."
Joseph of Arimithea had already made Arrangements with Pilate to take the body to his own personal tomb.
regarding the resurrection: you check Mark in particular -- nothing is said of a miraculous resurrection -- just that he is gone.
But the crucifixion and death and resurrection are now tools used to promote salvation. This was necessary to the times when the feeling was that "sacrifice atoned for sins" -- read Paul's writings if you haven't already in this regard. He uses the sacrifice and resurrection a lot.

I agree that the crucifixion was a transformational event. But did it really happen or is it symbolism for what each of us must go through to rid ourselves of Ego and get to the true, divine self? Looking at Psalms 22 and 69 as you do, could it be that David's vision was of Yeshua/Jesus's struggle with his humanity - his ego - that is getting in the way of his true self, his divine self, becoming dominant?

I think you hit the nail on the head, so to speak.

Sanhett,
Also, Good question, I'm researching this one as well, since it is key to understanding the entire mystery between God, Jesus as messiah, and humanity. The crucifixion itself seemed to be a transformational experience that Jesus needed to undergo in order to assume his true identity and release a spiritual destiny within humanity. In Psalms 22 and 67, he seems to lose assurance and contact with the divine and suffer despair in fulfilling his mission.
